This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose information about you in connection with your use of the Groopl mobile application (the "App") and the Groopl web application (the "Site") (collectively, the "Service"). Please read this Privacy Policy with care. Groopl provides a dedicated, secure platform to effortlessly schedule, manage, and communicate about your group’s activities.

2. Information We Collect
We collect the following information about you:
Information you provide directly to us: This includes information you provide when you create an account, such as your name, email address, and phone number. It may also include, but is not limited to, information you provide when you use the Service to plan events, such as event details, guest lists, payment information and communication with other users.
Information collected automatically: When you use the Service, we may automatically collect certain information about your device, including its unique identifier, operating system, IP address, and browser type. We may also collect information about your usage of the Service, such as the features you access and the events you plan. If you choose to turn on your Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or other geolocation functionality when you use our mobile applications, we may collect and use your geolocation information. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”
Information from third parties: We may collect information about you from third parties, such as social media platforms, if you connect your account to those services.
Information shared from our short code SMS program that will not be shared with any third-parties for marketing or other reasons.
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

“Log files” track actions occurring on the Site and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

We also will ask if you are the Host/Administrator for the group who is using the Site. We refer to this information as “Member Information.” We also may collect information using chat bots. When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

We use the information we collect about you for the following purposes:
To operate and improve the Service.
To provide you with customer support.

We have no control over, and are not responsible or liable for the ways those third-parties use your personal data. We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes without your consent. We may share aggregated, de-identified data with advertisers, marketers, and other businesses.

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with services. We will also retain your information as necessary to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
6. Your Choices
You can access, update, or delete your information by logging into your account and going to the settings page. You can also unsubscribe from marketing communications by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email we send you.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information from our systems.
